The Disney Candlelight Processional is a breathtaking performance of the Christmas story held at Epcot's World Showcase in Orlando.
With celebrity guest narrators recounting the beloved tale, the Voices of Liberty, student choirs providing singing throughout, and a fifty-piece Orchestra playing beautiful music, this show is sure to bring joy to all who attend.
The festive atmosphere is illuminated by cast members holding candles, creating a heartwarming glow as you experience the story of Christmas in an interactive way.

The Disney Candlelight Processional is an incredible experience and one your students will never forget. The beauty of the story, combined with the voices of student choirs and celebrities narrating, as well as the 50-piece orchestra, makes for a truly magical performance.
Epcot's America Gardens Theatre is the perfect setting for this show. With its open-air seating on the banks of the World Showcase Lagoon near the American Adventure Pavilion, it's truly breathtaking. Plus, all the choir cast holding candles adds a heartwarming glow that highlights the production even more.

Celebrity guest narrators share the story of Christmas while being accompanied by the student choirs and Voices of Liberty. The combination of their talents creates a magical atmosphere, transporting the audience back to Bethlehem on that fateful night so long ago.
The performance is completed with accompaniment by a fifty-piece, world-class Disney Orchestra. With each note played, the music fills the air and captivates all who hear it, transporting them to a different world entirely. It is truly a testament to the power of music and its ability to inspire and move us in ways that few other things can.
How It Works
If you are a school Choir Director in grades 9th through 12th, you can audition for the Disney World Candlelight Processional 2025.
But don't wait! Deadline to audition is September 6, 2025.
The evaluation criteria include music interpretation and execution, showmanship and stage presence, accompanists, and overall show value. The group size must be between 20 to 50 participants. Interested choirs need to submit a PlanEars Application directly to Disney beginning in early June and include a video performance within the past year that features a specific arrangement of Oh Holy Night (provided by Disney). After submission, Disney will review the application and notify you if it’s accepted.
